Dreja 1,5 hour

During one of our 1.5 hour afternoon courses you will get both a practical demonstration of the art of turning and then good guidance on how to turn one of our turntables yourself. One will make 2 pieces of bowls or cups. At a leisurely pace, we accompany everyone to succeed. After the bowls are turned, the participants are allowed to work further at the work table with them. For example, you can put on an ear to get a cup or make a spout to pour out of and get a small jug. You can decorate and sign your works. You can also carve/sculpt only at the work table if you prefer. The finished items will then be set aside to dry and burned by staff. Things get glazed and get a glossy glaze. The finished things are picked up after about 4 weeks in the workshop. (we also ship with shipping cost of 150: -). There is the possibility to choose other glazes/colors for a supplement of 50: - per item. Minimum of 2 people per occasion. Children are valid from 4-12 years Children under 4 years old accompany free of charge with an adult paying person. Suitable for all ages! If you want to use a physical gift card as payment, you book by sending us a signal, and we will book you at your chosen time. We have 6 pcs of turntables In our workshop. If you are several people who want to book together, please contact us at boka@clay.nu. Larger groups can be booked, then we switch between turntable and table for sculpting/rolling etc. Often a little more time is needed.

Here you will have a lovely and fun developing moment in the workshop at Clay. There will be introduction and guidance at the turntable and work table, as well as the raising of a bowl on the turntable by your instructor so that you see the moments of the art of turning. The course participants then rotate alternately on our turntables and have the opportunity to put on handles, decorate or build freely at the table. If you have an idea of your own you want to try, we will try to implement it together.will do 2-3 things during the course. We have 5 turntables and they all turn at the same time with the help they need. The finished items are glazed and then burned by us you and retrieved later. It usually takes about 3-4 weeks before things are completely ready. (we also ship for a shipping cost of 150: -) Transparent glaze is included. There is the possibility to choose different glazing to their manufactured items/bowls. Selection of glazes can be found in the workshop, surcharge of 50: - per item. Minimum of 2 people per occasion. Children are valid from 4-12 years Children under 4 years old accompany free of charge with an adult paying person. If you have more than 5 people who want to come at the same time, please contact us to book. Then we alternate between turning and working at the table and may need some extra time in the workshop. 8 days course/course

Ceramics course for adults and young people. The course is aimed at beginners, but also for those who have tried before and want to develop. We turn and create in clay in several methods. All with guidance and assistance. You will also glaze your things and be involved in all processes to the finished product. We have set up the course on 2 occasions per week (2.5 hours per sessions), so that things do not dry out too much during the process. In total, the duration of the course is 20 hours. TIME: Thursdays 18-20:30 and Sundays 15-17.30 NUMBER OF DAYS: 8 We hold this course both autumn and spring, see dates in the calendar. COST: 3950: - + material cost of 125: -/kg per finished burnt product If you want to book this course, just select the start date in the booking calendar. Maximum of 6 people per course. We have 6 turntables at our disposal as well as a kick pulley, which can be fun to try on. Planning for each event takes place at the start of the course and in consultation with the participants. Clay offers coffee at the last opportunity when we gather and evaluate our creations made during the course.

8 times children - Skövde

Ceramics course for children. We hold 2 children's groups. The former group on Tuesdays for children between 7-10 years. The latter group for children aged 10-14 years. Here the children get Dreja & what we call Greja. During 8 Tuesday evenings, we work with clay in different methods. Children are guided in a playful way to explore the mud and what to do with it. During the course, they learn about the different steps to finished pottery. They can be involved in both glazing and decorating into finished works. Max 6 children per occasion.

Come to us and spin a bowl and get a good bite of food afterwards! Take family or friends with you for a really fun activity. Here you get to try spinning without performance requirements, just have real fun we can promise! You each turn a bowl or cup on our turntables, everyone gets the assistance they need. After the turn, you go together to the nearby Biergarten or Bryggan to eat a good meal afterwards. Doesn't that sound lovely! We can accommodate 5 turntables at the same time. If you are a larger company, please contact us to plan your activity. After the turn (about 1 hour in total) you wash off and go to the pre-booked restaurant. The bowls made are glazed by us and retrieved after about 4 weeks. Can also be sent for shipping cost. Children apply up to 12 years. Children under 4 years old come free of charge and are allowed to create in clay at work tables, no food is included for children under 4 years old. At the restaurant you will then choose from their menu - meat, fish or vegetarian options well on the spot. When you book and pay here, everything is planned and your table is waiting for you after the turn. The price includes both the spin and the food. Weekend course

The weekend course is suitable for everyone who is a beginner as well as for those who have turned and worked with clay before. In this course we meet for 2 full days and explore the mud through turning, but also using other methods, the course starts with the walkthrough and cranking of bowl on the turntable, your instructor will show you approaches and give tips around turning. The course participants then rotate alternately on our turntables and have the opportunity to put on handles, decorate or build freely at the table. During Sunday, we finish the turned things by pruning, i.e. turning them off underneath and getting them really nice. If you have time, you can also twist or sculpt more. Once you have chosen which weekend is right for you, you just need to book Saturday from the calendar. 2 weeks after the course weekend, the course participants gather to glaze their things. We will jointly arrive at a point in time. If you do not have the opportunity to attend, we will help you with the glazing. Everything is collected about 2 weeks after glazing.

CHILDREN'S PARTY - 2 hours

CHILDREN'S PARTY 6-13 years INCLUDED: The children create in clay at the work/craft table and are allowed to turn each cup/bowl. We help to prepare cup or bowl with handles, decor, etc. 2 things per child are glazed and burned by us. We have a coffee and can open the package. The children are allowed to have a snack on the cake/coffee bread provided. Clay has prepared with a set table - side dishes and cutlery, balloons and lemonade are on site. A really fun experience for both boys and girls. The ready-burned things are picked up after about 3-4 weeks on Clay. Ready to be distributed to all expectant children.

Drop-In Swivel

With us you can come up with Drop-in turning. Sure it sounds fun! A Drop-In Turn takes about 45-60 minutes. We can accommodate 5 people at the same time at the turntables. Awards:\ \ Turning with good guidance costs 300: -/ person for a turned bowl. \ We glaze your creation in tranparent glaze and burn it to glossy fine ceramics (stoneware) . \ \ For an addition of 50: - you can choose other glazes for your turned bowl. We have 6 different colors to choose from. \ \ Shipping within Sweden 175 SEK (max 4 items)\ Shipping within Europe 300: - (max 4 items) \ Here's how it goes! \ \ A Drop-In Turning is a fun activity, suitable for those who want to slip in a little spontaneously. With the help of our instructors, you can turn a bowl or cup on one of our turntables. No prior knowledge is required. \ After that, you take the bowl with you to the work table to polish, put on a handle and decorate as you like. We glaze and burn your bowl to become durable stoneware. After that, you can wash your bowl in the machine, when it is ready. \ \ You pick up your bowl after about 3-4 weeks. We also offer to ship both within Sweden and abroad. Opening hours for Drop-In:\ \ During the summer months of June-August we accept Drop-In Turnstiles between 15.00-17.00 daily. \ The rest of the year you will be at Drop-In-Turning during our opening hours depending on time. \ Please double check opening hours before your visit. \ We are closed for a few days during the summer. Turn a bowl or cup

Turn a bowl or cup with assistance and guidance at a leisurely pace. Demonstration of turning and tips on creation takes place before your turn. Glazing and burning of your creation takes place after the event and is included in the price. Finished items are picked up (all sent) after about 4 weeks.
