At this time, you will turn around and get good guidance and help to succeed in the creation. You will make 1 or 2 pieces of bowls. You can also carve/sculpt at the work table instead if you prefer. The moment begins with the demonstration and raising of the bowl on the turntable by your instructor. The course participants then rotate alternately on our turntables with assistance and have the opportunity to put on handles or build freely at the table. The finished items are glazed and burned and picked up later (we also send for shipping cost of 150: -). There is an opportunity to choose special glazing to their manufactured items/bowls. Selection of glazes can be found in the workshop. This is done after the turn with an addition of 50: - per item. Minimum of 2 people per occasion. Children are valid from 4-12 years Children under 4 years old accompany free of charge with an adult paying person. Suitable for all ages! If you want to use a gift card as payment, you book by giving us a signal, and we will book you at your chosen time. We have 5 turntables In our workshop. Larger groups can be booked, then we switch between turntable and table for sculpting/rolling etc. Often a little more time is needed.

Here you will have a lovely and fun developing moment in the workshop at Clay. There will be introduction and guidance at the turntable and work table, as well as the raising of a bowl on the turntable by your instructor so that you see the moments of the art of turning. The course participants then rotate alternately on our turntables and have the opportunity to put on handles, decorate or build freely at the table. If you have an idea of your own you want to try, we will try to implement it together.will do 2-3 things during the course. We have 5 turntables and they all turn at the same time with the help they need. The finished items are glazed and then burned by us you and retrieved later. It usually takes about 3-4 weeks before things are completely ready. (we also ship for a shipping cost of 150: -) Transparent glaze is included. There is the possibility to choose different glazing to their manufactured items/bowls. Selection of glazes can be found in the workshop, surcharge of 50: - per item. Ceramics course for adults and young people. The course is aimed at beginners, but also for those who have tried before and want to develop. We turn and create in clay in several methods. All with guidance and assistance. You will also glaze your things and be involved in all processes to the finished product. We have set up the course on 2 occasions per week (2.5 hours per sessions), so that things do not dry out too much during the process. In total, the duration of the course is 20 hours. TIME: Thursdays 18-20:30 and Sundays 16-18:30 NUMBER OF DAYS: 8 We hold this course both autumn and spring, see dates in the calendar Upcoming times: November 2024 same in March 2025. Afternoon Tea + Turning

Join us as we serve up our cozy Afternoon Tea which takes place on the last Saturday of the month with, at the moment, a total of 4 occasions spread over the year! You book in for a moment at the turntable and get guidance in the art of turning. Participants alternate between sitting at the turntable and crafting with clay at the work table. All under knowledgeable guidance. After the spin session, our Afternoon Tea is served for you. If you book an appointment at 11.30, you will have a coffee after the turn pass. If you book at 14.00, choose j if you have a coffee after the turn or come a little earlier and have a coffee before your turn. A walking table of Scones with traditional accessories and homemade marmalades. Freshly baked cake etc. There is of course Tea, coffee and lemonade for those who wish. You sit down in the middle of our lovely workshop and shop. The old warehouse, dating back to the turn of the last century, is really a relaxing place to stay.

Come to us and spin a bowl and get a good bite of food afterwards! “Bring family or friends to a fun activity. Here you get to try spinning without performance requirements, only really fun we can promise! You each turn a bowl or cup on our turntables, everyone gets the assistance they need. After the turn, you will go together to the nearby Biergarten to eat a good meal afterwards. Doesn't that sound lovely! We can accommodate 5 turntables at the same time. If you are a larger company, please contact us to plan your activity. After the turn (about 1 hour in total), wash off and walk to the Biergarten in the city park. The bowls are glazed by us and retrieved after about 4 weeks. Can also be shipped (shipping 150: -). Children apply up to 12 years. Children under 4 years old come free of charge and are allowed to create in clay at work tables, no food is included for children under 4 years old. At the restaurant you will then choose from their menu - meat, fish or vegetarian options well on the spot. Drinks are purchased separately. Weekend course

The weekend course is suitable for everyone who is a beginner as well as for those who have turned and worked with clay before. In this course we meet for 2 full days and explore the mud through turning, but also using other methods, the course starts with the walkthrough and cranking of bowl on the turntable, your instructor will show you approaches and give tips around turning. The course participants then rotate alternately on our turntables and have the opportunity to put on handles, decorate or build freely at the table. During Sunday, we finish the turned things by pruning, i.e. turning them off underneath and getting them really nice. If you have time, you can also twist or sculpt more. Once you have chosen which weekend is right for you, you just need to book Saturday from the calendar. 2 weeks after the course weekend, the course participants gather to glaze their things. We will jointly arrive at a point in time. If you do not have the opportunity to attend, we will help you with the glazing. Everything is collected about 2 weeks after glazing.

CHILDREN'S PARTY - 2 hours

CHILDREN'S PARTY 6-13 YEARS INCLUDED: The children create in clay at the work/craft table under supervision. It is also possible to choose that the children are allowed to turn each cup/bowl. We help to prepare a cup or bowl with handles, decor, etc. 1 thing is glazed and burned by us, the rest of the things that the children make they are allowed to take home unburned. We have coffee and can open the package. The children get refreshments on lemonade, ice cream cake and fruit. Coffee for all parents as well as snacks and cutlery are available on site.

Drop-In Swivel

With us you can come up with Drop-in turning. Sure it sounds fun! A Drop-In Turn takes about 45-60 minutes. We can accommodate 5 people at the same time at the turntables. Awards:\ \ Turning with good guidance costs 300: -/ person for a turned bowl. \ We glaze your creation in tranparent glaze and burn it to glossy fine ceramics (stoneware) . \ \ For an addition of 50: - you can choose other glazes for your turned bowl. We have 6 different colors to choose from. \ \ Shipping within Sweden 175 SEK (max 4 items)\ Shipping within Europe 300: - (max 4 items) \ Here's how it goes! \ \ A Drop-In Turning is a fun activity, suitable for those who want to slip in a little spontaneously. With the help of our instructors, you can turn a bowl or cup on one of our turntables. No prior knowledge is required. \ After that, you take the bowl with you to the work table to polish, put on a handle and decorate as you like. We glaze and burn your bowl to become durable stoneware. After that, you can wash your bowl in the machine, when it is ready. \ \ You pick up your bowl after about 3-4 weeks. We also offer to ship both within Sweden and abroad. Opening hours for Drop-In:\ \ During the summer months of June-August we accept Drop-In Turnstiles between 15.00-17.00 daily. \ The rest of the year you will be at Drop-In-Turning during our opening hours depending on time. \ Please double check opening hours before your visit. \ We are closed for a few days during the summer.
